As part of my skills development, I was tasked with creating a Premier League highlights package from the Newcastle United vs Aston Villa friendly (23/24 season). This project introduced me to the fundamentals of Adobe Audition and gave me hands-on experience with:
- Cutting audio at precise points to match commentary with key moments
- Applying fade-in and fade-out effects (using the favourites menu) for smoother transitions
- Layering and balancing crowd noise, music, and commentary to produce a polished, broadcast style finish
These screenshots show the editing process in action, from cutting waveforms to applying fades and managing multiple audio files. Overall, this task gave me a strong foundation in the basics of Adobe Audition and built my confidence in producing clean, professional audio for sports media projects.
